Company CPCR, one of the leaders in the Russian express delivery and logistics market, and company MTS, a major Russian cellular operator, have joined efforts in providing top-quality and prompt service to MTS customers.

CPCR – MTS partnership has reached a new level. October 27 MTS made public the decision taken by its acquisition committee with respect to tender for the right to conclude an agreement for storage, warehouse handling, carriage and courier delivery of goods (3pl – providing): the choice was made in favor of company CPCR which submitted a tender best fitted to MTS requirements. The success of one of the Russian leading express operators became possible due to the integrated branch-wise approach to the logistic operations of its customers. During the recent three years CPCR has been working on whole logistic programs for various industries, taking into consideration peculiarities of the transported cargo and the demands of each of such industries. Telecommunication companies are among those who had a chance to assure themselves of the advantages of such approach, receiving a complete range of expected services with a best price-quality relationship. The custom package of services for MTS includes integrated warehouse logistics, reliable and well-planned express delivery of the goods and professional inventory management, including distribution, providing information on the movement of the goods and subsequent issuing of invoices. Such integrated service will help the leading cellular operator cut its expenses and improve the efficiency of logistic operations, thus allowing the company to continue offering the best prices in the market.

Now you don’t have to search for a closest office: MTS will come to your home or office absolutely free of charge, with the help of a CPCR courier.

In the situation when competition is getting stronger in all the markets, the key to success is a fast adaptation to the changing situation and requirements of the market and an on-going increase in the operation efficiency. This is why CPCR being one of the leaders in the Russian express delivery market places stakes on technological innovation in mail service and cargo delivery. As part of the modernization program for the production process the company equips its central sorting center with an automated conveyer system for sorting out parcels and correspondence.

The project is focused on changing the mail processing mode, but its ultimate goal is to improve the quality of the provided services, in line with the overall strategy of CPCR which is oriented on a maximum satisfaction of the customer needs by ensuring the safety (reducing the risks of mail damage) and improving the service quality standards.

The Company makes regular investments in the technological development which allows it to make a “quality breakthrough” in conducting mailing operations and sets a new service level, which forms one of the Company’s competitive advantages.

The main goals of the present innovation from the technological point of view are:

* simplifying and accelerating the process of unloading the collected mail;
* shortening the handling cycle for cargoes at the sorting center;
* reducing the time required for handling each mailing unit;
* reducing the need to shift cargo and as a result reducing the risks of possible damage



After the new system is introduced the mail handling speed is expected to rise by 70% already in October, which will increase the capacity of the sorting center 5-fold. That will allow CPCR to accelerate transit operations through Moscow and will ensure faster processing of mail addressed to Moscow recipients. As a result the delivery period with respect to main services will be reduced by at least one day.

The application in sorting operations of a line consisting of modern, high-performance machines and transporters contributes to a significant increase in the capacity of the sorting center and ensures a high quality of the production processes.

After completing the 1st stage of the sorting center automatization process, CPCR proceeded to implement the next stage - introducing technological innovation in the other logistic business processes.

Company CPCR is officially recognized as a bona fide supplier of services, which was officially proven August 27 by entering the Company in the Federal register of bona fide suppliers which is a system appraising the results of product / service suppliers’ activities in accordance with standard GOST R ISO 9001:2000.

The certificate of conformity issued to CPCR confirms that the Company’s business meets the requirements of the State supply standard (based on the RF Federal law ¹ 94-FZ “On placing orders for the supply of goods, performing works and providing services for public and municipal needs” dated 21.07.2005).

The Federal register of bona fide suppliers was established with a view to increase the transparency of the market and protect the interests of bona fide suppliers of goods (works, services). For a company to be entered in the Register means not only to strengthen its positions but also to confirm the competitive ability of its products (works, services). Being part of the Register helps a company build its business reputation and increase its attractiveness both to consumers and partners, it is one of the ways to guarantee faithful contract implementation and give a company well-grounded rights to participate in tenders for public orders as a reliable and efficient contractor.

The evaluation was performed by the International investment consulting center based on official sites for placing orders, public contract registers, materials of the Federal anti-monopoly service of Russia and consumer opinions.

August 2009 was marked by a significant event in the cargo carriage market: company CPCR – a leader of the Russian express delivery market – and Aeroflot-Cargo airline – a leader in the internal freight air transit – have entered into an agreement on long-term partnership. The volume of cargo CPCR transports by Aeroflot and Aeroflot-Cargo flights is expected to rise to 100 tons per month already in 2009.

CPCR believes that partnership relations with Aeroflot-Cargo will contribute to major improvements in the process of cargo and correspondence delivery to the remote areas of the country, thus providing for better service standards in these directions. According to Yevgeny Tyurin, External logistics Director, by concluding the present agreement CPCR first of all strives to achieve a major cut in the cargo delivery timelines. Direct partnership between CPCR and Aeroflot-Cargo considerably simplifies and make more reliable the existing transportation schemes.

As a partner of Aeroflot-Cargo in the RF territory, CPCR will be able to make the most of the advantages offered by the branched network of cargo and passenger flights of the national carrier, shorter cargo transit periods through the Sheremetyevo airport and the possibilities offered by CargoSpot, the latest system of electronic cargo traffic management offered by Aeroflot-Cargo.

According to estimates made by Aeroflot-Cargo experts, cooperation with CPCR will allow the airline to significantly increase the profitability of freight carriage due to direct cooperation, make a quality change in the cargo traffic structure and increase the share of express freight inside the country. Cargo transit in cooperation with CPCR will reduce the seasonal load fluctuations, thus allowing to make long-term plans for the Russian market.

Vladimir Pereverzev, Aeroflot-Cargo Marketing and Sales Director is confident that consolidation of CPCR traffic on the airline flights and joint use of the modern technologies in air carriage will increase the competitive ability of both partners. “Our company operates not only inside Russia, but on international routes as well. We have to compete with foreign companies, leaders in the world market. Uniting the efforts of Aeroflot-Cargo and CPCR contributes to increased profitability of our business and will strengthen the positions of the Russian companies not only in Russia but in the world market as well. At the same time our customers will receive stable service standards, which are utterly important for the development of inter-regional ties”.

Both parties note the important strategic meaning of the concluded agreement, underlining that formation of a stable cargo flow to the remote regions of Siberia, Urals and the Far East of Russia will contribute to market saturation with consumer goods, strengthened information ties and further development of infrastructure in these regions.

In today’s unstable economic situation ÑPÑR continues to expand and optimize the scope of its services.
August 3 ÑPÑR launched a new service - ÑPÑR-ENVELOPE which provides express delivery of documents between all 89 regional centers at a single fixed tariff of 350 rubles (without VAT).

The new service allows you to send documents in ÑPÑR carton envelopes (format Ñ4) without any weight restrictions.
When using ÑPÑR-ENVELOPE you may also order a number of additional services, such as SMS – notification of delivery, return of signed documents etc.

You can request courier pickup on the same day before 4 p.m. ÑPÑR provides free waybill forms and brand envelopes (as well as other kinds of packaging) for mailing. The service also includes readdressing mail items within the city.

The new ÑPÑR-ENVELOPE service features high quality standards accepted in the company and guaranteed delivery periods.

CPCR has accomplished an unprecedented delivery.
On Sunday 19 July a little barking and very nice “item” became hero of the day.
The order was accepted on the 17th of June at the Company’s Representative Office in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. The customer – a young lady, who has finally found her log wished and desired puppy of English bulldog in one of the elite kennels in Moscow - earlier faced the problem of its transportation: several companies, including both international and Russian express-carriers, refused from acceptance of such an unusual order. Our Company hadn’t found any reason for such refusal.

One and a half month old puppy with a noble name of Mawlas Marss Patricia was brought to the sorting center of CPCR at Volgogradskiy prospect in Moscow on the 19th of July at noon. As any other type of cargo it was duly weighed, documented, registered and surrounded with heartiest care and attention: it was timely fed, watered and aired. Based on previous arrangements with Veterinary Service of Domodedovo Airport the exceptional cargo was delivered just in time for the flight No. 111 and, after completion of all formalities, took off at 20:45 PM to Khabarovsk.

The puppy easily survived 8 hours of flight and welcomed the next morning’s sun in the Far East.

At Khabarovsk Airport the VIPuppy was already awaited for by the employees of our Khabarovsk Branch and, at 11:20 AM in Moscow, we received a long-expected phone call from Komsomolsk-on-Amur: Mawlas Marss Patricia was safely handed over to the addressee – the young lady, Carina, failed hiding happy tears from meeting the one she dreamt for so much.

That was the way the CPCR Team just did its job – accurately, consistently and within minimum lead-time, despite the distance of 10 thousand kilometers.

On the 10th of June during festive reception in Renaissance Hotel dedicated to the Ceremony of awarding the National Project of “Logistics Operator of Russia 2008” Rating Contest CPCR was announced the Leader of Logistics Services Market. The honorary certificate of the Rating’s organizers - EurAsian Logistics Association and “KIA Center” Company, was awarded to Mrs. Nadezhda Romanova, Deputy Director General and Commercial Director of CPCR.
The “Logistics Operator of Russia” Rating was established in 2002. For its seven-year history more than 300 companies participated in the Project. The Project’s goals include mobilization of the companies’ resources for entering of a brand new level of development and business competitiveness on the background of significant changes in global economy and presentation of reliable information on current status of logistics market in Russia and its key players.

CPCR was the official partner of the first “All-Russia Bookcrossing Marathon – 2009”.
All-Russia Bookcrossing Marathon is the first action organized by Bookcrossing literature movement under the auspices of “National Bestseller” Literature Award and “InterMediaCom” literature agency. Starting from this year, in addition to authoritative Petit Jury the winner out of the authors of 6 books (preliminary selected Grand Jury of the Award out of 62 books) was defined by participants of Russian Bookcrossing Community from five major cities (bookcrossing is a process of “releasing” books, in the course of which a person after having read a book, leaves (releases) the same in a public place (park, cafe, train or metro station) for another occasional person to find and read such book and then to release it again). In Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhniy Novgorod, Kazan and Voronezh bookcrossers were offered reading some books and leaving their comments on a special insert in the book and on the Marathon’s page of “Vkontakte” socializing network.

CPCR introduces an updated version of electronic way-bill available on the corporate site of the Company, which corresponds to the new layout of paper consignment note of OOO “CPCR-EXPRESS”.

Electronic version of the way-bill will allow you to:
Avoid unintentional data corruption, which may occur in the process of conventional filling-in;
- Fill-in the way-billat the site in electronic form, instead of manual filling-in (for more convenience) and, accordingly, introducing an unlimited number of corrections;
Save your valuable time: having printed out the filled-in way-bill, you will easily obtain an original document required for formalizing the order and hand over the same to the courier (no need to fill-in the blank form available with the courier).

Please note that after launch of electronic version of way-bill the Clients will be able to use CPCR-OPTIMA service only by filling in the electronic way-bill at www.cpcr.ru or using the approved form of electronic document flow.

Novelties include:

- SERVICE PARAMETERS added:
Three modes of delivery: CPCR-EXPRESS, CPCR-OPTIMA, CPCR-ECONOMY;
now it is possible to choose between Insurance and Parcels with Declared Value.

- The “DESCRIPTION OF ENCLUSURE” section is added with “Package Number” column, dedicated for the number of courier-pack or CPCR envelope (for additional guarantees and control of delivery of your parcels).

- The Company introduces “INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMER NUMBER” which will be awarded upon conclusion of the Contract with CPCR. Such number will be used for identification of your mail during automatic processing at the sorting center.

Now you may monitor the progress of your order delivery using either the number of your Contract or the number of way-bill, as well as ICN.

- “CLIENT’S DISPATCH NUMBER” field is added which may bear any number at your convenience that may be used for monitoring the progress of delivery.

Another year has come to an end - 2008, which brought to Russian business a lot of ordeals. However, CPCR, in spite of instable situation in the market, is optimistic about its future.
The Company has developed a package of measures aimed at support to its Clients in the context of ongoing crisis. Introduction of modern technologies and streamlining of the cargo handling and delivery processes has helped reducing the time and cost of handling, which in its turn allowed us lowering down the prices for certain services with parallel improvement of customer service quality.
